ZEUS

ATHENA

APOLLO

HADES

ODYSSEY

TITAN
A member of the older generation of Greek gods who ruled before the Olympians. The Titans were overthrown by Zeus and the Olympians in a war called the Titanomachy.
ORACLE
A person or place through which the gods communicated their will. The Oracle at Delphi was the most important in ancient Greece, consulted by leaders on major decisions.
OLYMPUS
The highest mountain in Greece, believed by the ancient Greeks to be the home of the twelve Olympian gods. The gods of Olympus were said to feast on ambrosia and nectar.
PHOENIX
A mythical bird that cyclically burns itself to ashes and is reborn anew. The phoenix is a universal symbol of renewal, resilience, and immortality.
