Finally, the Greek hero Odysseus came up with a plan. The Greeks built a giant wooden horse and hid soldiers inside it. They left the horse outside the gates of Troy and pretended to sail away. The Trojans brought the horse inside their city. That night, Greek soldiers climbed out and opened the gates. The Greek army poured in and captured Troy.
