Free Printable Worksheets for Grades K–6 (Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies)

We just added a library of free pre-made worksheets to Gridl, organized by subject and grade level. Each worksheet includes a short reading passage and comprehension questions, so students can practice reading and thinking at the same time.

What's Available

You can browse worksheets in four subject areas, each covering grades K through 6:

  • Reading: Comprehension passages on familiar topics like family, animals, and classic literature. Each passage is matched to the vocabulary and sentence length appropriate for that grade.
  • Math: Reading passages that explain math concepts, followed by questions that check understanding. Topics go from counting and basic shapes in kindergarten up through ratios and proportional reasoning in 6th grade.
  • Science: Life science, earth science, and physical science topics, from the four seasons (K) through cells and cell theory (6th grade).
  • Social Studies: Topics like community helpers, maps, and economics in the early grades, building to the American Revolution and Ancient Egypt by middle school.

Each worksheet has five questions in a mix of formats: multiple choice, fill in the blank, and true/false.

How to Use Them

Go to thegridl.com/browse and scroll to the Worksheets section, or go directly to thegridl.com/worksheets.
